No late-game heroics tonight for the Arizona Wildcats.
Ole Miss blows by Arizona 22-6 to win the NCAA Coral Gables Regional and the Wildcats will head back to Tucson. The Wildcats season complete at 39 wins and 25 losses.
The Rebels improve to 34-22 and head for the Super Regionals to face Southern Miss, just two wins away from a trip to Omaha and the College World Series.
For Chip Hale, his first season as the Wildcats' coach is in the books. He has a lot to do before the 2023 season.
Note: Blake Paugh hit two homers tonight for Arizona and Tanner O'Tremba also went yard. Daniel Susac had two hits tonight and finished the season with 100 hits. All three players were named to the Coral Gables Regional team, along with Chase Davis.
