Chase Davis hit his 17th homer of the year and Garen Caulfield hit his third round tripper, but the Wildcats' struck out 20 times as Ole Miss bested Arizona 7-4 in first-round action Saturday at the NCAA Collegiate Baseball Tournament in Coral Gables, Florida.

Arizona starter Garrett Irvin gave up four runs on eight hits, struck out nine and didn't walk a batter in 6.2 innings, but the Wildcats' bullpen issued four key walks down the stretch and Ole Miss scored three runs in the eighth inning to gain the win.

The Wildcats (37-24) take on Canisius at 9 a.m. (Arizona time) Sunday in a elimination game. Canisius College  (29-24) lost 11-7 to Miami earlier today.
