Arizona not up to the task at McKale against Sun Devils

Arizona Wildcats Basketball

The Arizona Wildcats (17-14, 8-10) failed miserably in their regular season finale at home today, falling 72-64 to Arizona State (21-9, 12-6).

The Wildcats turned the ball over 17 times and made just 20 field goals. Not a good showing against the Sun Devils. Arizona lost the services of guards Brandon Williams and Justin Coleman late in the second half as both players fouled out with just 13 points between them. Ryan Luther and Brandon Randolph finished the game with 12 points apiece and Chase Jeter added 11.

And now it's off to Las Vegas next Wednesday and the ninth seed in the Pac-12 Tournament.
