Diamondbacks, Rockies in the midst of a "good fight"

The Arizona Diamondbacks and the Colorado Rockies are in a dogfight to finish second in the NL West. Catching the LAD is out of the question, even though the Diamondbacks knocked off  the unbelievable Dodgers at home last night, 7-6.

The Rockies, on the other hand, beat the Tigers in Detroit 7-3 yesterday, behind the 30th homer of Nolan Arenado. So heading into today, the Rockies are 72-60 and the Diamondbacks enjoy a 74-58 record with 30 games to go.

Congrats to Paul Goldschmidt on his 32nd homer yesterday in the fifth inning and David Peralta's RBI-triple in the fourth. It was a nail biter the rest of the way, until Fernando Rodney recorded the final out at Chase Field.

Punch after punch it's going to be a battle to the final round...I mean GAME.
