Arizona selected for postseason play

The Arizona Wildcats (38-20) will open play Friday at 11 a.m. at the Lafayette, Louisiana regional against Sam Houston State. The other teams in the regional include Princeton and the host team, Lafayette-Louisiana.

The last time the Wildcats reached the postseason was in 2012. Arizona won it all that year with a 10-0 postseason run.  This will mark the 38th appearance in the NCAA Tournament by the Wildcats.
