The Arizona Diamondbacks (52-55) lost the getaway game 8-3 today to the Washington Nationals and return home after going 6-4 on their latest road trip. The Diamondbacks split the four-game series with Nationals.

That leaves the Diamondbacks with 55 games left on the regular-season schedule.

There's still time for Arizona to make some noise.

The Diamondbacks open up their next home stand tomorrow night against the Cincinnati Reds. Chase Anderson will get the start for the Diamondbacks on Friday, Robbie Ray follows on Saturday and Patrick Corbin will take the mound on Sunday.
