Second-ranked Arizona rolls by Kansas at McKale

The 2nd-ranked Arizona Wildcats (27-2) unleashed a balanced scoring attack with star freshman Koa Peat back in the lineup and eventually sailed by the Kansas Jayhawks, 84-61, this afternoon at McKale.

Brayden Burries scored 20 points, grabbed 12 rebounds for a double-double, dished out five assists with no turnovers as Arizona clinched a share of the Big 12 Conference title with two games remaining on the regular schedule -- a home game against Iowa State on Monday and next Saturday at Colorado.

Peat finished with 12 points, seven rebounds, and five assists in 23 minutes of playing time, while Moe Krivas collected a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds. Ivan Kharchenkov added 11 points, while point guard Jaden Bradley scored 10 points and finished the game with no turnovers.

Darryn Peterson kept the Jayhawks in the game with 24 points.

Arizona maintains its hold atop the Big 12 standings at 14-2.
