NCAA College World Series
Arizona Wildcats Baseball
The Arizona Wildcats found themselves in a 10-0 hole before they could muster up a couple of runs in the fifth inning and ended up losing to Stanford 14-5 today at the College World Series in Omaha.
Arizona finishes the season with a 45-18 record and head back to Tucson after a disappointing show in Omaha with a loss in 12 innings against Vanderbilt on Saturday and today's lopsided loss to Pac-12 Conference foe, the Stanford Cardinal.
Stanford strung together 20 hits. The Wildcats had seven hits. Catcher Daniel Susac went 2 for 4 and drove in three of the five runs for the Wildcats.
