60-and-over baseball
The 60-and-over Tucson Aces connected for five doubles in a 9-1 clubbing of the Arizona Rattlers today at Udall Park. Joe Opocensky collected two doubles, Mike Dawson drilled a two-bagger as did John Mathews and Tim Tolson.
In the meantime, Dawson went the distance on the mound, hurling all seven innings. It was the second win in the last seven days over a south-side 60-and-over team. The Aces shutout the Old Pueblo Club 3-0 last Tuesday at Udall.
Way to go, Aces!
