Thunder Tim Tolson went 3 for 4 and knocked in four runs to lead Team White to a 10-7 win over Team Blue at Udall Park today in a 60-and-over Tucson Old Timers game.
Despite Tolson's hitting, Team Blue's Reed "The Babe" Palmer single-handedly kept his team in the game with a 2 for 3 day -- including a two-run single and a three-run home run -- his 16th round-tripper of the season. Palmer, with three games left in the month of April, is on pace for 48 home runs, which would shatter his club record of 21 homers, set in 2017.
Palmer and Tolson, along with the rest of the TOTS, will be back in action on Wednesday at Udall and will close out April with games on Friday and Monday. Game times for all three is at 9 a.m.
