Palmer hits another one
Tucson Old Timers (TOTS)
60-and-over baseball
Reed Palmer keeps on rolling.
Palmer, who set a TOTS record for homers in 2017 with 21, is well on his way to breaking his own record in 2018. My goodness, it is the middle of April and Palmer hit his 11th of the season today -- a grand slam over the right field fence to lead his team, Team Blue, to a lopsided 23-12 win at Udall Park over Team White.
The hard-hitting lefty is on pace for 33 homers in 2018. It's a long season (the TOTS season is from January through December, a long 12 months), but Palmer is half way there already.
Way to go, Reed!
