UCLA handed the 13th-ranked Arizona Wildcats a rare loss at McKale Center tonight.
It was all Bruins from the opening tip. UCLA led by 10 at the half, by 15 early in the second half and rolled to a 82-74 win. Arizona falls to 19-6 and 9-3 in the Pac-12, while the Bruins improve to 17-7 and 8-4 in the conference race.
Deandre Ayton collected his 16th double-double with 16 points and 12 rebounds, but went 7 of 19 from the field. Allonzo Trier led the Wildcats with 17 points.
