 Arizona Wildcats Baseball

Arizona finished 1-3 at the Frisco Tournament last week in Texas and now heads for Irvine, California, to open up a three-game  Pac-12 series with USC on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

The Wildcats salvaged one blowout 12-1 win over #20 Indiana in Frisco but lost to #5 TCU 6-1, #25 Dallas Baptist 4-3, and #16 Alabama 7-6 to start the tourney.

The Wildcats will tangle with Loyola Marymount at the George C. Page Stadium in Los Angeles before returning home on March 15-16-17 to meet the Arizona State Sun Devils at Hi Corbett Field.

Brendan Summerhill leads the club in hits with 18, one more than Garen Caulfield. Summerhill is 18 for 48 (.375), while Caulfield owns the best average after 11 games at 17 for 40 (a .425 clip). Mason White leads the team in home runs with five and RBI with 19.

Cam Walty leads the pitching staff with an unblemished 3-0 record.

Go, Wildcats!
