60-and-over baseball
Big John Mathews went 3 for 4 and drove in two runs, while Team Blue's starting pitcher Bob Daliege hurled a complete game en route to a 8-7 win today in a 60-and-over Tucson Old Timers game at Udall Park.
As for Team White, they sent Mike Dawson to the mound in this one and he kept pace with Daliege for most of the game. He helped his own cause with two hits in three trips to the plate -- including a triple and four runs batted in.
It was another hot one, despite a 9 a.m. start. The TOTS will be back at it on Monday at Udall. As for the weather more of the same -- hot and dusty.
