The Arizona Wildcats (10-6) beat ASU 6-2 last night in Phoenix. The win counts in the overall standings, but not as far as the Pac-12 standings go. The conference schedule officially begins with a three-game series in Washington on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Reliever Preston Price (1-1) picked up the win. Price relieved starter Avery Weems in the fifth inning.

The Wildcats have a modest five-game winning streak.
