A-Rod retires and will stay put as a Yankee advisor



Alex Rodriguez will retire Friday and stay put with the New York Yankees as an advisor.

Rodriguez is fourth on the all-time career home runs list with 696 -- behind Barry Bonds (762), Hank Aaron (755) and Babe Ruth (714).
