The Legend of Bucket Smith is the story of an injured soldier who returns home from the Vietnam War and discovers a family secret, which changes his life forever. The Return of Johnny Dugan is a fiction book, a sequel to Billy's Victory about a town without baseball and about its residents who yearn for America's Favorite Pastime to return.
