Diamondbacks salvage a split with Cardinals
Arizona Diamondbacks
Rubby De La Rosa allowed just two hits in seven innings and the Arizona Diamondbacks salvage a split in the four-game series at Chase Field with a 3-0 win in the finale tonight over the St. Louis Cardinals.
Chris Herrmann hit a two-run homer and Brandon Drury connected on a solo shot, while De La Rosa went about his business, finishing with a career-high 10 strikeouts.
Arizona (12-12) continues its home stand tomorrow night. The Colorado Rockies are in town for a three-game series.
